How do I log in for the first time?

  • Check your invitation email for your username and temporary password

  • Enter your credentials, then set a new permanent password when prompted

Platform Overview

What is Publicus and what does the MVP include?

Publicus is an AI-powered platform that simplifies government procurement for contractors. The MVP focuses on discovering relevant opportunities and enabling quick initial qualification through one-click feedback and a visual pipeline.

Portal Coverage

Which portals do you currently cover?

  • Canada Buys (live)

  • BC Bids (available April 21, 2025)

  • SEAO (available April 21, 2025)

  • Full coverage across all public and private portals by May 1, 2025

How often does Publicus scan for new opportunities?

Publicus scans Canada Buys every hour. Additional portals will be added to the hourly scan schedule as they come online.

How do I request a new portal be added?

Contact [email protected] or use the in-app chat to submit portal requests. We prioritize based on demand and feasibility.

Daily Recommendations

What is the daily recommended opportunities list?

Every morning you'll see up to 10 new opportunities matched to your profile. You can mark each as "interested," "not interested," "save," or view details. Your feedback trains the AI to improve future matches.

How do I use the opportunity actions?

  • Interested (πŸ‘): Moves the bid to your saved pipeline

  • Not interested (πŸ‘Ž): Removes it from your list and trains the AI

  • Save (πŸ’Ύ): Adds it to the Kanban board for tracking

  • View (πŸ‘οΈ): Opens the full details page; click "Back to Dashboard" to return

How is my progress tracked?

A counter at the top shows how many of the daily recommendations you've reviewed (for example, "3 / 10 reviewed today"). Once complete, you'll see "All recommendations reviewed for today!" and a list of reviewed items below.

Managing Opportunities

How do I manage saved opportunities?

Go to the "Saved" tab in the left sidebar to open your Kanban board. Drag and drop cards between columns (Saved, In review, Qualified, Proposal writing, Submitted) to update their status.

Can I search for opportunities outside my daily recommendations?

Yes. Use the Search tab in the sidebar to run semantic searches across all covered portals at any time.

How can I save or manage specific searches?

Saved search alerts are a placeholder in the MVP. Full saved search and alert functionality will be available in a future release.

Can I export opportunity data?

Export and download functionality is not available in the MVP. It is on our roadmap for upcoming releases.

Can I collaborate with teammates on saved opportunities?

Team collaboration features are coming soon. In the meantime, you can share card links or screenshots manually with your colleagues.

Settings & Customization

Can I customize my notification settings?

Yes. Under Settings β†’ Notifications, you can toggle alerts for new matches, saved search alerts, and deadline reminders. Frequency controls (daily vs. weekly) are planned for a future release.

How do I update my profile information?

Click your name or avatar in the bottom-left corner, then select Profile. From there you can edit personal details, preferred categories, semantic description, bio, and change your password or enable two-factor authentication under Security.

Mobile & Integrations

Is there a mobile app for Publicus?

Not yet. You can access Publicus through a mobile web browser at https://app.publicus.ai.

Can I integrate Publicus with my CRM today?

CRM integrations are planned but not yet available in the MVP. Watch for updates under Settings β†’ Integrations.

How do I provide feedback or suggest features?
